Messier isn't even making my top 5 all time hated Canucks list.

It is a little odd that so many Canucks fans hate him so much. he was 40 when he got here...he was already over the hill. What did anyone really expect?

He helped gut a roster that was rotten to the core. Only guy I was sad to see go off that crew was Martin Gelinas.

I worry about the Eddie Lack flash in the pan factor with Silovs.

I think I gotta stand up for King Arthurs little bit. I liked the Eddie Lack Attack Pack when we had him, but I see much more potential in King Arthurs. Lack was undrafted and a late bloomer, he was a NHL rookie @ 25 years old with nothing on his resume. Silovs on the other hand is 23, but already has a ton of accomplishments under his belt: 10 NHL reg season games, 10 NHL playoff games, NHL playoff shutout and MVP title at the IIHF World Championships. I think Silovs still classifies as a NHL rookie. The fact that Tocc kept going with him against the Oil despite having proven NHL backup Desmith sitting there speaks volumes.

My only concern is that like TD35, not sure Silovs can handle a heavy workload. He had all summer to heal from whatever ailment he had, but he wasn't 100%. Even in juniors and minors, he was never the guy who played most of the games and tended to split the net, most was like 44GPs. Not sure if that's because of injuries or because those clubs wanted to be fair and allow for development time for the other guy as well.

I like the potential of Silovs but he was exposed by Edmonton and clearly needs to work on some things.

I think we gotta give KIng Arthurs a bit of slack there considering who we were playing. The Oil have 2 of the best players in the game and are arguably the best offensive team in the league. It doesn't matter who u have between the pipes, they're going to "expose" ya. The Oil "exposed" NHL star netminders Jake Oettinger and Sergei Bobrovsky as well. Bobrovsky (2 time Vezina winner) had a 3-0 games lead on the Oil, yet McDavid & Co still got to him and almost came back to win the series and the Stanley Cup.

How good can Silovs be? Not sure, still early to say, but I think he can be more like a Jaro Halak than an Eddie Lack. .

I'm a Prime subscriber (like so many others) and I'm sending in a complaint telling them I won't watch those games because of Messier.

I imagine Cornuck is busy creating multiple dummy email addresses and prime accounts in order to spam the shit out of their customer feedback.

Ummmm.....while solid in a couple roles for us, I would never have put him as being better than even, say, Linden, let alone Mogilny.

I watched a prime Wayne probably 20 times live. A prime Mario 4 or 5. I'm a Mario guy.

Alex Mogilny had sick skills. Fucking guy could do it all. He was better than Pavel. IMHO he was better than Fedorov as well. I wish Lindros had a real run at it. He was a fucking stud.

Anyone rating Almo behind Trevor likely sucked on a soother on the short bus.

Eric Lindros was the biggest weenie in the history of pro sports!

And the big dummy never could learn to keep his head up.

There are reasons he was stripped of the C and made to sit out a season.

Hell, there were even rumours his own boss tried to kill him.

Fucker insisted on a trade to the Leaves at one point and eventually signed there as a UFA.

I wear 89 in beer league because of Almo. My all time fav. hockey player - let alone Canuck.

Mogilny was the best Russian of his generation. But he marched to his own beat, only played when he felt like it and rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. He was the epitome of an enigma.

Lindros was the most dominant PF the 90’s, but was a prima donna head case.

Two complete wastes of pure talent.
