Yup. We're going at it like rabbits! :rockin:
Psssst... it's the immigrants who are multiplying. 8-)
Right...

Let's see... based on my immediate family...I have two, my sister has three, my six maternal cousins have a total of 15. So far we average 2.5.
My five paternal cousins only have a total of four kids, which drags the total down to the Swedish average of 1.85.
Sure, out of these 24 kids, two are half Greek, two half French and two (mine) half Finnish, but who cares. Except for the Sweden Democrats, of course.
As for the two male cousins on my father's side that have no kids, to be honest, all I can say with certainty is that they have no kids that I know of...

Strictly speaking though, the statistics should only be based on women.
Adjusting for that, my sister and female cousins average 2.0 kids.
So, no, it's not just the immigrants. :drink:

But regardless, all kids are welcome to help pay for my pension when I retire!

Muslims are much younger and have more children than other Europeans. In 2016, the median age of Muslims throughout Europe was 30.4, 13 years younger than the median for other Europeans (43.8). Looking at it another way, 50% of all European Muslims are under the age of 30, compared with 32% of non-Muslims in Europe. In addition, the average Muslim woman in Europe is expected to have 2.6 children, a full child more than the average non-Muslim woman (1.6 children).

Yeah, we reached Peak Child in the 1990's. Since then the number of children born has started to fall.
Population growth will go on though for another thirty-fifty years thanks to better health care and less famines.
But the long term trend is definitely population decline.

The East European countries with like 1.3 fertility rates that refuse to take in refugess will probably be the first to crack.
Yeah, I'm talking to you, Hungary and Poland.

Desperate times call for desperate measures?

Interesting to note the nations of which Per speaks never had a population crisis

… when they were dominated by pro-life pro-family Christianity.

But eventually Christianity moved over and let liberalism take over.

And what will the end result be if the trends outlined by Dan continue?

Well, European Muslims are outbreeding and will eventually replace Per & Co.

Which is fine by me, I’d rather have Muslims than atheists/heathens any old day.

Muslims are anti-liberal after all, and children born into Islam are forbidden to leave.

They tend to perpetuate themselves with their pro-life pro-family ways.

So I agree with you, immigration is the best option in their desperate situation.

YES... I could see it slightly delaying the inevitable.

The end result is pretty much the same as Per’s Solution #1.

Glad you agree Reef that the end result of liberalism is death…

Let me guess, you were forced to attend that conference by your employer and you fell asleep.

Yeah, the nazis say so, but there is ample evidence to the contrary.

Look eg at the USA and Canada, two countries based almost entirely on immigration and doing pretty well.

Interesting graph, showing a negative correlation between college education and sympathy for the Sweden Democrats.
Each little dot is one municipality, it's size depending on population size.
The scale at the bottom shows percentage of inhabitants with a college degree.
The vertical scale shows how many percent voted for the Sweden Democrats.

Image

The article in Dagens Nyheter, from whence I got the chart, was about the odd fact that Sjöbo, a rural community, which had the highest percentage of votes for the Sweden Democrates, borders on Lund, a university town, where SD only got some 12%.

But sure, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Karelia, Ingria (including St Petersburg), a fair chunk of Norway and parts of northern Germany should rightfully be ours! :drink:

Oh, and I guess the area surrounding the Delaware river as well, of course!

Btw, speaking of the benefits of immigration:
The full report is not yet available to the public. Instead, it was leaked in two instalments. The first shows that Brexit will be economically damaging in every scenario – including the scenario the government says it prefers, which seems to be somewhere between membership of the single market like Norway or a trade deal like Canada. The bottom line is that after Brexit, the UK will be inexorably poorer.

The second instalment showed not only that migration has been beneficial to the UK economy, but also that its Brexit-driven reduction will be costly. To add insult to injury, it also showed that these losses will not be compensated by gains from a free trade agreement with the US. The net benefits from migration may be small but as the leaked report shows they are significantly larger than the gains from free trade agreements with countries on the other side of the globe.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
