General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today the following roster moves:

- D Victor Mancini has been placed on injured reserve (retroactive to Oct 26).

- D Derek Forbort has been placed on LTIR (retroactive to Oct 11).

- D Tom Willander has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

I don’t mind this, I want to see what we have in this youngster.

Hughes showed up for 5 games to close out the season a few months before he turned 20. Willander is a year behind him there with his debut, but QH turned heads in those 5 games. I’m hopeful that TW can as well.

Some of Hughes’ confidence probably came from having never played a professional game before suiting up here, he just lived in the moment and played to his strengths…..and his natural abilities surprised opponents.

Willander has 5 games under his belt in the A this year, I wonder what we will see from him…..I’m hopeful we see a cocky youngster who surprises a few dirty Rangers by trying things he that other kids wouldn’t attempt.
