Once upon a time, people stayed with an honest employer for decades or more and the reciprocating factor was the employers treated their staff like family by paying bonuses and having good dental and extended bennies. The unions were strong and manufacturing was all done within your country, or at least within the commonwealth or USA.

There was a shift from companies wanting to make good products, keep employees happy and make a decent profit. Then it became about stock price and quarterly earnings and the CEO keeping his job. This also shifted the manufacturing base from Canada and the US to overseas. I'll guess a lot books have been written about it, but that's how I see it.

The quality in goods and services has gone way down in the new economy. Chef went to Brown’s recently and had a burger Dave Nonis style, the zit faced millennial chef just slopped it together, extreme poor workmanship, no pride in his job. I would’ve been better off going to McDonald’s, didn’t finish the slop.

Browns is Wendy’s in disguise. And the bill for my wife and I was well over $100 and then at bill time they prompt you with tip options now as high as 22% and if you don’t tap the highest option the smug millennial waitress is giving you the bitchy resting face.

I know it’s a restaurant but it’s across the board regarding you don’t get what you paid for, not anymore

It’s getting worn out and tired but that’s how society rolls now, bitching about “woke” is next level woke. Immigration is just another term for white fear or the great replacement theory. Globalism is a natural evolution in mankind, good luck in stopping that tsunami, it’s too ingrained now, that ship has sailed. The great reset (nuclear war) seems inevitable.

illegal immigrants do not come close to covering the cost they create.
