I am a Packers fan, which usually means a team in the playoff mix, but ever since they blew the NFC Championship to Seattle the year after their last Super Bowl (IIRC), there’s always been a piece or two missing from being a favorite. This year, it’s three pieces: discipline (penalties), discipline (running back takes on field aggression home…:), and pass rush due to injury. But with Jacob’s back and Parsons soon to return, it will be another season between 9 and 11 wins and an early playoff exit if they make it….
I cancelled all my sports channels, including sportsnet and TSN. I was just going to check in on the game between the Flames and Oilers, only to find that it's not on any of the sportsnet channels I have (which is just about all of them). Apparently it was on another sportsnet channel that was not included in my sports package. They wanted another $23 per month for just the one channel. Anyway, that was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak. I haven't really watched a full game for a long time, I just check in sometimes to see the scores. Anyway, my interest in hockey has been waning for some time now and I have had it with the greedy assholes at Rogers and fucking team owners and greedy players. Fuck the whole thing. I'm to old for this bullshit. There - that's my rant.

They added Sportsnet + automatically to my account in Sept. without charge. I realized then that they are migrating more and more games to that channel. So I guess for some customers this year is a freebie but as soon as they drop it from the package and want more I will be done. There is no justification for adding another f’ing channel when you already have 5 channels mostly showing the same thing. This is planned greed.
