Apparently vets are anyone who has played one NHL game for minumum vets purposes.

100 games for the two game max purposes.

Not super keen on Novotny and Cootes being down there unless the Canucks have a couple of legit goons to protect them in the A.

I don't think Novotny is ready for that yet. I'm betting he's back in Peterborough, maybe as early as tonight.

Absolutely. Fortunately Ryan Johnson is the first GM in franchise history that seems to know how to develop young hockey players. IMHO of course.

Arshdeep playing like he wants to stay. He and Cootes may be our 2 best forwards the past couple games.

League only allows one exception for 19 year olds so only one of Cootes or Novotny can be assigned to Abbotsford. But listening to RJ I get the feeling that both will be back in JR with a chance to play at the World Jrs for their respective countries. RJ does not seem to be in the mood to rush anyone. And that is the right decision.
