Re: Canucks Young Guns
USA Hockey announced that recent Canucks draft pick Brooks Rogowski has been invited to USA’s 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase roster.
Matthew Lansing has also been selected this year. Not bad, 2 prospects for the US team!

Re: Canucks Young Guns
Lansing had a decent freshman season (18 points in 40 games) on a veteran laden Quinnipiac team.
Hopefully he can play up in the lineup this year.
6’2” 190 lb centre, his +19 was second among forwards.
Not bad for a 7th round dart.

Re: Canucks Young Guns
Some of our later round picks over the past few years are showing promise. Good to keep an eye on them to see how they progress. Patterson was adamant that he was coming to camp to make the team and open eyes. Love the fire.

Re: Canucks Young Guns
This conversation seems a little inappropriate for a young guns thread. Some of our draft picks are still jailbait.
So. Keep going.

So. Keep going.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

From the interweb:
The Vancouver Canucks have signed five players to one-year AHL contracts. Abbotsford Canucks General Manager Richard Seeley made the announcement via press release
Per the Canucks’ release: “…the club has signed forwards Quinn Emerson and Ryan St. Louis, defencemen Tim Rego and Gavin White, and goaltender Mitchell Weeks to one-year AHL contracts ahead of the 2026-27 season.”
Yes that is the son of.

I think they were talking about ex-Canuck goalie Steve Week’s kid, and if not him their first round draft pick who never played for the team, Patrick White’s kid.BoS wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2026 8:25 pmWow, cool. I remember Nelson EmersonHockey Widow wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2026 4:20 pm From the interweb:

Re: Canucks Young Guns
Maybe that signing was the future considerations for taking Gallagher?
