To move on from the Swedish puppet GM is pointless if the main baldy is still in charge. There is no authority or independence for anyone coming in. There will be no changes unless all of Rutherford's garbage is taken to the curb.

FFS, there is no hope for this franchise.

Is their a legitimate second line without the caveats of, of he stays healthy, it he regains form, if he realizes potential?
I think your question is answered fully, by there current standing. And how far from 31st their.

This is truth in action. We have 4-5 guys in the lineup that dont belong in the NHL, and we have them playing up the lineup.
I know the 3 Pettersson’s, but who are the other 2?
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

To understand a pettersson one must become a pettersson.

Your average pettersson subscribes to the swedish philosophy of Lagom

Definition:

Lagom (pronounced [ˈlɑ̂ːɡɔm]) is a Swedish word meaning "just the right amount," "not too much, not too little," or "in balance". It signifies a cultural philosophy of moderation, suitability, and sustainability, often applied to work-life balance, sustainability, interior design, and social interactions to achieve contentment and avoid excess.

A pettersson is all about not too much effort nor too little...juuust enough.

Unless it's a contract year, but that's that Swedish practicality shining through once more.

Lagom. So Cuz, everything is good in MODERATION?

Then I'm sure this Pettersson will hit 50pts. It's juuuust good enough to keep the cancer in check.

It's amazing to me after 27 months of dismal failure, the narrative is still that the OTHER guy was the problem and that the guy who was here as captain for a decade prior without really advancing the team, should have been the one kept in hindsight.

Keep a 2C over a cheaper 1C... uh huh. A ballsy move would have been keeping both old guys (who had no issues with each other) and selling the 24yo for equal or better value before other teams realized they got a lemon.

Meanwhile, the previous captain pretty much pointed out between the lines as to who were the real issues to a 109pt team that completely collapsed to one of the worst teams of all-time in franchise history.

Hint: the problems are follicularly-challenged... the toxic owner. The toxic old man in charge, who treat staff and players shabbily. The woefully-inept GM who isn't even trusted to make the biggest trade for the franchise. The toxic loner who wanted compensation without offering the dedication, who made himself an island, with no real friends or support off the ice or in the room... and who likely has one foot out the door himself. He thought he won the battle, but the team lost the war.

Yeah, not swallowing that team/media driven propaganda to deflect blame.

Petey has to go, if only to purge the last of that era out of the room. He’s evidently checked-out long time ago and nothing will change him, now that he has his pay-day.

Bud. I’m a saskie boy. We don’t believe in ‘Milf Dens’… If she is more than a 3x3 (3 kids, 3 dads), then that gals from Alberta. That’s the province that promotes lifted 4x4’s.. ffs.. read the game notes :D

Saskie boy share both couth AND class!

[edit] .. but if there was said “Milf Den”, how much is entry fee, and is there any rules?? (Asking for a friend)

The first rule of milf den is there is no milf den (if anyone asks)

The only other rules are you gotta pay the sitters and let the milflings call you stepdad til your cab arrives

I can confirm that my sister-in-law is a true Alberta gal: 6 kids by four dads - including my brother. “Broke-down Trailer Park Barbie” is what my wife calls her. Prime Medicine Hat stock, she is.

These 'Berta piggies sure know how to wallow. It's an entire province full of what we used to call surrey girls (nowadays it looks like they would be predominantly of south Asian ethnicity rather than broken down trailer park Barbies lol)

Lancer I see your bro got honey trapped by not letting the medicine hat milflings call him step daddy
