Has to do with going through the effort of posting and the intel not being read/noticed/included in continuing discussions.

This is my biggest struggle here.

Whether to bother or not.
I think most of us are guilty (at various times) of clicking the most recent page in a thread, or jumping to a notification that someone replied to us, and simply replying to that reply, without reading the comments that were made between what we originally wrote and the reply we were notified about.

As for “whether to bother”…..

I can say that I notice when people don’t bother. We’re a small group, and when someone all of a sudden just says they aren’t gonna bother, I definitely notice that I haven’t seen them contribute at their usual frequency.

I mean, there was also a couple months back that I thought that JPP, mcp, Per, Chef, Carl, Snoozi, Tciso, Nuckertuzzi, Reefer, Carl, Cuz, and dbr, had all quit or died or something…..but then I remembered I had put them all on ignore. So I mean that was my own fault. 👀

Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

EDIT: I'm here in a coffee shop, posting on CC and the old guy at the next table is suddenly blasting Air Supply on the phone speakers for all to hear

Making Love Out Of Nothing At All... like what we do everyday here in the Corner. Jeezus, muzak for monsters indeed.
Of all 80's tunes to play out loud...

I would have opted to drown him out with Slayer, myself, but anything to counteract that "Club Cougar" classic of the dancefloor.
Love the Sport. Love the Team.

Hate the League.

It's about that time I play some NWA to drown him out....
When rap was real. I also like some Rage Against The SmartPhone Machine.

I was thinking of out-cheesing him with Flock of Seagulls.

Ok, back to the tankard...

Interesting what Mark Cuban, minority owner of the Dallas Mavericks posted on social media re: tanking...
“Few can remember the score from the last game they saw or went to,” Cuban wrote. “They can’t remember the dunks or shots. What they remember is who they were with. Their family, friends, a date. That’s what makes the experience special.”

With that in mind, Cuban said, the league should focus more on affordability than the integrity issue that is at the heart of tanking.

“The NBA should worry more about fan experience than tanking,” he wrote. “It should worry more about pricing fans out of games than tanking.”

I struggle to suspend disbelief enough to follow along here. We have the worst ownership in the NHL and complete buffoons making all the wrong moves in the front office.

I do not believe in this team's future whatsoever.

So what you're saying is that we aren't tanking, this is all natural!

Yeah, that's my basic thinking. None of this has been intentional; they're on a path to find out.

Whatever will be, shall be.

Megs you need a pull or 3 off of Uncle Cousin's finest kush to put things back into perspective. The Canucks are merely an asset for a real estate holding company to fiddle fuck around with. The owner is pretending he knows shit when in fact he knows shit all

There's something to be said about getting your results from being completely natty... however in this case, it isn't a compliment.
