New Season, New Posting Rules

Hey everyone - we're about to hit the new season, and maybe a Cup run!

First off, thanks to everyone who makes this a great community.

Us mods have been talking, and we want to 'widen the appeal' of the Corner. We'd love to see some new faces start posting here and get some more conversation going. Rats has even invited some friends to join up! If you know anyone who might want to post here, reach out to them.

Towards this goal, we'll be cracking down on thread derailment, insults, and general crudeness that we may have let go in the past.

Hockey boards are for hockey. Bar & Grill is for everything else. Should be simple, right? Bar & Grill will have rules, but more like playoff hockey, we'll let some things go.

For all of you lurkers out there - feel free to step up and make some posts. It doesn't hurt, I promise

Let's have some fun, engage thoughtfully and let the mods spend their time fighting spam and bots, and not having to censor posts.

Also - I have opened up Gmail accounts for signing up - I'll leave it open until the season gets going. It opens up a TON spam accounts.

Today the mod team got together and decided that for the overall health of this board, Dude and Blob are gone. Accounts have been deactivated.

Ya I didn't mind it that much, I have to say. You can always skim past a post once you notice the content. But I guess attempts were made to rein them in and they kept on skirting around it.
