JPP is the one making the claims and should be Mickying this place with the appropriate links.
It's the latest insider's inside joke.

Trust me. Look it up.

(No winkies 'cause it roons the parody) :)

Oilers have their 2026 2nd and their 2026 3rd. Sherwood fits like a glove there. Take it and run. They have shit for prosoects to send our way so if they send a couple 2027 4ths and they can have Blueger too. The sooner the better.

I fear Forbort is done after that beating he took last season.

A dozen picks in this draft would be mint. Ten or more the year after. There's your on the fly rebuild which can be possible considering the assets in place.

Smoke? Fire? Bag of Pucks? Or something legit?

A 1st RP for sure, just not sure what Van would have to take back to make the salary work for either team.
Where is all this chatter coming from?
I agree, if you post about a lot chatter it should easy to provide a link. I know we are to spit ball and just chat but there should be some professional accountability (done in green).

uh, uh... Svechnikov, Stank Oven and a 1st? Why do my pants feeling tight all of a sudden?

No awful contracts coming back? Sure, it's not as good as the Necas offer, but at this point, the Febreeze is smelling pretty fresh.

Fingers, did you enjoy your Star Trek moment? The Wrath Of Don? No lynx from me

This is an interesting topic, what can be considered "chatter"? The link you provided is IMO just a key click posting and I know this is basically all we have these days. Not just here but everywhere, and not just in sports, they throw out words in the header just to get you to click on it. This article uses the word "smoke" which alludes to smoke/fire yet how realistic is this?

Personally I don't click on most of these mainly because if it is in media then the chance of a specific deal happening is low to non existent, look no further than than the QH deal. I am not sure we heard about this at all (I could look it up but I won't).

Like I said this is a hockey board and there is only so much to dissect on how the players/team did in the last game so these bring in a topic and it is discussed on its merits. If we didn't have this, then what would we chat about?

I think everyone here is aware of click bait and what it is.

I think everyone here takes all socialz shit with a big fat grain of salt.

I think everyone here, in this case Jello, can be trusted enough to not "make shit up" and we can believe them, based on site(s) history, that they saw/read what they said.

I think sometimes smoke/fire is real and shit is percolating behind scenes.

That is how I found out about the Hughes trade and posted it here in time with when it occured.

Got lucky and smoke and fire.

I don't think there is a chance in hell we get that package for EP.

Having said that Carolina is likely one of the ideal places for him to play.

Yep, no idea what the actual return will be. If.

Sorry, I figured most people Google "Vancouver Canucks" and hit the "News" link.

Apologies.

I'll link to the Google machine next time. Al la Gomer.

All I was getting at - is there is most likely a 1st Rd Pick coming back, *IF* they can move him.

As I'm not sure a 100+ pt player has ever been traded for less. At least to my memory.

Which is suspect at most times.

Excited at the prospect of 3 first round picks.

Actually taken.

Couldn't agree more, bub.

Sadly, it takes rock bottom for us to all come to agreement. These guys need us fans to keep them in check with our whiffle crotch bats ready.

Thinking about trading one of our 1st rounders to hybrid rebuild? Whack!
