Vancouver’s Celebrini and Bedard tied for the lead in nhl scoring. Making Vancouver proud. Hey if the Canucks forever suck at least we got these two to cheer for.

They are not our top line, and they are not built as 4th liners. Give them 4 years.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Thu Nov 06, 2025 6:25 am Celebrini leads the league in scoring while Bedard is 9th overall. How do you leave these two off Team Canada Olympics? You also have to give Schaefer strong consideration.
Adjustments
best players in the game. Take the beer goggles off. This type of neanderthal thinking is how guys like Rob Zamuner and Lyle Odelein end up on National teams of the best hockey nation in the world. 4 years my ass.

They're the two best Canadian forwards in the game not named McDavid. They bloody better be on the team.

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26
Well, are you taking Seth Jarvis and Travis Konecny ahead of Celebrini and Bedard? I certainly ain’t. I like Jarvis but Konecny didn’t look great at Four Nations. The only “new potentials” causing problems for Celebrini and Bedard are Scheifele and Wilson. Heard the committee is giving Horvat a strong look, the centre the Canucks trades for I don’t know what. Hronek, I guess.

I don't think any team is getting rid of the calibre of center the Canucks need.
The only way is draft & develop.

He’s proved me wrong, yes. Especially after the Miller/Pettersson debacle.

Many mock the "adjustments", but changing one's mind in response to new information is the healthier attitude to take, by far.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:15 amHe’s proved the me wrong, yes. Especially after the Miller/Pettersson debacle.

I thought Bedard was a bust? Didn’t someone here harp on him since he joined the league?

When it's done every now and then and then us meat puppets say 'shit I was wrong about that guy'.... I think everyone is fine with it. When a guy does a re-draft 2 months after it happpened and calls guys like 'loser Tavares, Mackinnon the bum, Coward Makar, Robert Thomas the clown, String Bean Pettersson, Shrimpy Hughes' etc.... it gets old.Ronning's Ghost wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 1:44 pmMany mock the "adjustments", but changing one's mind in response to new information is the healthier attitude to take, by far.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:15 amHe’s proved the me wrong, yes. I liked the Erik Gudbranson acquisition but questioned the price. He was a 5/6 D man and 20 ganes into his Canucks career, I fully admitted I got that one wrong. Proclaiming Virtanen and Ollie and Podkolzin were great top 10 picks for 4 and 5 years is utter stupidity or pure trolling.
I also liked the acquisition of JT. Just questioned the timing of the trade. Then all of a sudden my favorite player was Shakir Mukanaduulin. I guess the inbreads were tired of getting caved?
The narrative twisting is far more annoying than any adjustments.

My comment was not intended as an endorsement of narrative twisting.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 3:20 pmThe narrative twisting is far more annoying than any adjustments.Ronning's Ghost wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 1:44 pmMany mock the "adjustments", but changing one's mind in response to new information is the healthier attitude to take, by far.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:15 amHe’s proved the me wrong, yes.
