Why the long faces, boys?

They were scintillating last season, becoming the AHL Champions!

If the parent club were to ever win a cup, we as fans wouldn't give two shites if they followed up masquerading as the 74-75 Capitals. No other NHL team's fans could ever mock us ever again. We got a ring, MFers!

It's never going to look as bleak as the team on 800 Griffith's Way as they bumble backwards towards a 60th season without a championship.

Not even looking remotely close right now. There isn't even a window in the war room to open a crack into a single season of respectability or contention from what I can see.
