Traditionally India and China have been enemies, or at least adversaries, but Trump's tariffs and taunts have pushed India toward China.
I wouldn't consider them allies though. At least not yet.

It's a bit like Finland and Sweden, who would never even have considered joining Nato, but when Russian troops invaded Ukraine, we did.
Less than 20% of Swedes were in favour of joining Nato in 2021. A few months into 2022 that figure had risen to 70%. Actions have consequences.

And the countries of Eastern Europe joining Nato is not about "Nato expansion"; it is about countries bordering Russia and who have been repeatedly invaded by them asking for backup to prevent future invasions. It's like a mutual insurance company. Nato has never been about invading Russia, it has always been about preventing Russia from invading others. It's a purely defensive alliance. The members have to assist other member countries that are attacked, but they have no obligation to participate in wars started by other members. As shown by eg Canada, France and Germany not participating in the illegal invasion of Iraq.

China and India are a long way away from being allies. India and Pakistan just had a good row in May of this year, and Pakistan is pretty firmly in China's pocket. Plus, India and China have had tons of skirmishes; the latest in 2020/2021.

These 2 nations are natural enemies, and I don't see them ever getting too close. Trump will get them in the same room once in a while, but they will revert to their long term simmering hate once he is gone.
