Well, for starters, if they are born in Canada they aren't immigrants.

As for "can't go back".....Why not? Is it because their own country won't let them in? Too bad for them. We are under no obligation to these people if they want to destroy the very country they have come to because clearly they came here with that plan in mind. They should therefore be treated as hostiles.

It's one thing to want to change your own country, it is another to essentially be declaring war against your own country and citizens. We aren't talking about wanting to rip down a tyrannical government here, or even burning a flag because of displeasure with the overall direction of the country, or a decision to engage in a foreign war (see 'Nam). We are talking about insurgents that have come from countries that are controlled by religious extremists and terrorist organizations and who are now screaming "Death to Canada!" while outright claiming that they are Hezbollah and Hamas - Terrorist organizations who are responsible for, hate speech, hate crimes, murder, kidnapping, torture.....I suppose crimes against humanity sums it um.

And you, 5th, are apparently OK with this. You condone these things by your very unwillingness to condemn them, or at the very least playing devil's advocate on their behalf.

I cannot condone someone immigrating and then doing that though. That's akin to a clandestine invasion without a declaration of war.

Two tier citizenship? Yes. If you are an immigrant to a nation you should not have the right to conduct yourself the way these people are without fear of losing the citizenship you acquired. Revocation of citizenship in Canada can result from conviction of charges of treason, espionage, and terrorism.

At some point you have to draw a line in the sand. In this case we are past that point frankly.

What are "these things" you're referring to? Are they engaged in insurrection, treason, or war against our country? If so, we have laws for that and they should be arrested. Or if they claim to be Hamas or Hezbollah, arrest them as terrorists (I believe I've already posted that).

But if it's just words? Words you don't agree with. Words that aren't causing imminent harm to anyone. Rather than suppressing those words I'd rather they be spoken aloud and then criticised and condemned. Hopefully those people are not so insulated that there aren't people around them who will call them out as ungrateful to their new country.

Yes I'm playing devil's advocate, but with a point. Like I've said before, just because I believe in free speech doesn't mean I believe in (or don't condemn) that speech.
