After the masterpiece they painted with turning that gangly oaf Myers into a solid defender...I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this type of potential moving forward

I don't think we will see Sprong in our top 6 Cherry.

Maybe not, but he is a right-shot right-winger - unlike lefties PDG, Aman, Pod and Hog, and none did much in the playoffs. Besides the third line often plays more than the second line when Garland and Joshua are on it together.
Whatever the case, Trader Jim has loaded his chamber.

Yep CP......right hand shot and above average offensive analytics as I mentioned above when the Sprong convo started.

Skates effectively good edge work, handles and moves the puck well, solid shot.

But.

There's a reason he is a 12 minute an outing guy and it's the rest of his game.

Can not see Tocch and the coaching team dishing top 6 minutes to a guy who doesn't dig in defensively (or at least offer other benefits...like being a cocksucker).

As I also stated, I hope they can work some miracles with his 200 foot play and, if so, this will be a big win for us.

I can see him playing with Suter and Joshua (good D zone forwards) and Garland being moved (in a package) for top 6 help.

And I agree with Topper.

Hogs may be on the way out...

Pods better have a good camp or the Russian experiment will really be over.

Yeah....could honestly see both he and Hogs gone before the season starts....

Edit....Pods and Hogs was meant to be the statement

I like the idea of attaching Poolman to him and flushing.

Whoever mentioned that might be onto something.

I'd much rather see Pods get a full season in offensive situations (aka top 6) like Hogs did before we see the parachute. At the very least, you should be able to extract much more value than NearlyNils would due to size and pedigree.

As for Sproing!, I'd be happy if he could at least equal Lafferty in the defensive department (minus the hitting) but an improvement in the offensive side over head/hands of stone Laffy Luck.

Decent highlight package on page 2.

He's got wheels which we clearly need(ed).

He can score which we clearly need(ed).

...and, as reported, he's good with the puck.

Cool. Laffy could never produce highlights like these.

Do DeDutch.

Yep Don - zero issue with this move. 1 year and just over the minimum for a guy who probably scores 15-20 with minimal ice time? Sounds good to me.

I’m in agreement though I still think Allvin has a bigger move in him. I’m guessing it’s a #3 dman and it’s probably Hoglander + to get him. Might not happen until the deadline but Allvin is cooking and I love the way this guy works. After the last decade it’s great to see moves that make sense almost every time.
