The third period was ugly but they defended the middle pretty well.
Karlsson looked no better than Hoglander, but he didn’t look any worse.
Wished Miller had found net.
Silovs has made DeSmith replaceable already. Depending on how Demko’s health continues, a replacement option?
Home ice advantage comes back to Vancouver! Hope they bring Skinner back for game four.

Its a win, ugly but a win.
Why are they falling back into a defensive play every time they are up, need to start getting shots on the net and win some periods.

I think they are countering their opponents pressure.
Tocchet has had them preparing for this type of hockey all season.
A useful Pettersson probably could have turned a game like this into a 6-2 win.
The longer this series goes the worse it gets for Edmonton. I don’t see anything close to a Stanley Cup contender in blue and orange. I see a 1 line team that is going to burn out their big two horses. McDavid and Draisaitl are definitely in the list of most talented duos the league has ever seen, but the rest of that team just isn’t there.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
