Any update on Demko? Thought this would be a game they would target to bring him back and get some reps before the playoffs.
I think I read somewhere they were targeting Saturday for Demko.. but that would be the oilers and sounds crazy. I hope I just made that up.

Rumour is McJesus will be out but yeah, that is not an ideal first game back scenario.
Nils Hoglander -- Elias Pettersson -- Brock Boeser
Dakota Joshua -- J.T. Miller -- Conor Garland
Ilya Mikheyev -- Elias Lindholm -- Sam Lafferty
Pius Suter -- Teddy Blueger -- Phillip Di Giuseppe
Quinn Hughes -- Filip Hronek
Carson Soucy -- Tyler Myers
Ian Cole -- Nikita Zadorov
Arturs Silovs
Casey DeSmith
Scratched: Mark Friedman, Nils Aman, Noah Juulsen, Vasily Podkolzin
Injured: Thatcher Demko (lower body)
Ya I read where they tentatively have Demko penciled in for the Oilers game. It’s actually a good game to get him back. One with meaning and one where he can get up for. His knee injury, from what I e heard, was minor and if these games were critical for us to make the playoffs he would have played through. I think Tocchet said it best, they played well enough all year to put themselves in a position where they could sit guys out.
Demko should get 2 of the last 3 games with DeSmith getting the other. Giving She-loves tonight’s game is a huge reward for him as well as a chance to get a closer look. Hard not to see him being our back up next year.
Good idea to get PDG a game before the playoffs too. Tough it is at Podkolzin’s expense I guess. But a healthy PDG in game shape is more important for us heading into the playoffs. He can play in the bottom 9, we know he played well with Boeser and Miller, and has more experience.
Can Podkolzin be sent back to Abbotsford or does he need to clear waivers? If he can be sent back that is where I would park him. A top 6 role with plenty of ice time will do wonders for his confidence. With him it’s all about being ready for next season.
This is a must win if we want to hold onto the division.
