I think Boeser slides up with Petterson and they audition some of the prospects or even Baertchi with Bo before Virtanen gets in there. Hes too much of a floater without the puck to stick on that line
Yup! Almost every projection you look at has Virtanen on Petey's line now. I understand how many think this works and makes sense but to maximize
the Alien, you have to have him with players that can read off him and vice versa. Miller and Boeser can.
Nothing wrong with going with the proven.
If Brock isn't up to snuff with his conditioning, (High Wids, howz the new digs), then it's a different matter.
Why would a consummate professional, high character guy not be ‘up to snuff’ with conditioning?
What’s Wids got to do with the comment?
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.
Jake is probably either first line or third line, not the second. Jake has played okay with Petey and Gaudette, but not so much with Horvat. If Brock is with Petey, I’d expect someone else on Horvat’s line over Jake (MacEwen, Lind, Motte, or Guad forbid Loui) until Podkolzin arrives. That being said I expect Jake with Petey and Brock with Bo to start the season. If Hoglander makes a push, I’d expect he’d be on the left side, probably over Roussel. Rooster disappeared for much of the playoffs, you’d think they are looking for an upgrade.

Miller with Pettersson is as sure a thing as the rain in vancouver man.

Yah, the top six left wingers are set with Miller and Pearson, though they should probably audition players to replace Pearson as the season progresses because there is a fair chance he won’t be resigned when his contract expires.

I think we are hoping Podz and Hogz grow into that role. (Or Lind and Lockwood)

chris faber:
'Vasili Podkolzin finishes with 20 shifts for 15:28 with 2 shots on net, 2 penalty minutes, 2 blocked shots and an assist that was not registered by the KHL.
He had a negative Corsi in today's game with a 46.7 CF%.'
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

If Brock isn't up to snuff with his conditioning, (High Wids, howz the new digs), then it's a different matter.
What’s Wids got to do with the comment?
Micky seems to be suggesting Wids is High (with a capital H) on snuff.

Well, didn’t Wids participate in the old East End booze cruises with the Dude, Loopy and Rosie Rottencrotch?
“I don’t care what you and some other poster were talking about”

I'm not sure about Wids but I know they bought their hooch from Micky in an alley off skid row.
Wids is currently dealing with a crooked, dodgy general contractor who is renovating her new condo in the west end. Ole Holmes on Homes Chef here would’ve been the wiser choice
