The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

We don't seem to have as many riots lately though. But:

My kid and I saw an intriguing but nasty public demonstration Thursday afternoon on Granville st. about 2pm. We were driving north.

what was going on. The side on our right were Hong Kong Chinese protesting against mainland Chinese bringing Covid 19 to Canada.

This is real folks... and yes, we had put on our masks in time cause the traffic was at a crawl. About 60% of the demonstrators were wearing masks...

Not according to Reporters Without Borders. If you look at the map, Canada is listed as ”satisfactory”, same as eg Britain, Australia and France, while the USA is listed as ”noticeable problems”, same as eg the Ukraine, Peru and Mongolia...
