Byram on pace for 6 goals 36 assists this season (66 games)
At the 46 game mark Jett Woo has 6 goals 25 assists
Did the scouts get it wrong with Byram?

By the numbers he appears to be struggling. I saw him play a few times last season. He looked great! Apparently he had a good camp with the Avs. At the WJC he started slowly but then looked pretty good as the tournament went along. He isn’t even 19 for another five months. How many games have you seen him play with the Giants? I know he has been hurt a bit this year too.
I guess the book is written on him.

Weird; Looked like a sure thing. Hard to believe. My guess would be he didn't anticipate being back at junior and it's all gone to crap.
Let's make a cheap deal.
The Avs need something with grande experience...

Not interested. Avs should’ve drafted Cozens or Podkolzin they both look like the real deals.

The Canucks don’t have the assets and he sure as hell wouldn’t be cheap.

Would you trade a Podkolzin straight up for Byram? I wouldn’t. Did you see Podkolzin scrap in the KHL the other night? He’s a fucking Swiss Army knife! He does everything!!Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 6:53 amThe Canucks don’t have the assets and he sure as hell wouldn’t be cheap.

I went snooping around for whats going on with Byram and the best i can find is its between his ears. The kid has exceptional skills but was heavily disappointed to have to return to the WHL.
Hes had time off to go home both before and after the WJC, less icetime, more icetime...the coaches cant motivate him.
I wouldnt be shocked to see the Avs deal him and whoever rolls the dice on the kid might land a big fish. Or a pouting bust.
I'd have to say pass on that trade but it wouldnt be an easy decision

PK Subbans career is going down the drain haaaard.
6 goals 5 assists and only 30 yrs old.
9 mill hit for 2 more years after this one.
Thats really, really bad

Lol those were three awful fights. Guys bail out so quickly these days.
Marchand punching the guy when he’s down and being held by the linesman. I would have kneed him if I was Ehlers.
But all of those weak fights were a response to three clean hits. It makes no sense.

Yeah something’s not computing with the kid. Plus I’m not sure why people equate his 26 goals as a defenceman last season somehow makes him something special? The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 12:20 pm I went snooping around for whats going on with Byram and the best i can find is its between his ears. You probably wouldn’t trade Juolevi for him. You aren’t capable of objectivityChef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 9:39 amYeah something’s not computing with the kid. Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Hard to say right now. Olli is playing good hockey right now in a superior league. Byram didn’t impress at all at the WJC. But certainly am not trading Podkozlin for Byram. No way Jose!Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 9:41 amYou probably wouldn’t trade Juolevi for him.
