Sweeney should get fired for having one of the best teams in the league.

I’ve heard it all.
He went waaaay off board for those 3 picks. Extremely damaging for the franchise.
They seem to have recovered fine

Boi ole Boi, the Oilers could have had one of Barzal, Connor, Chabot or Boeser instead of trading for Reinhart. Even better, Blobbees Bruins could have had 3 of the 4 in Barzal, Connor, Chabot or Boeser instead of DeBrusk, Zboril and Zenyshyn. Thank you Sweeney for fucking that up.

Hang on a sec. I will take DeBrusk any day, just not ahead of the stars you bring up. A team is more than stars. It takes true puck hounds to win. Guys who will get the fuckin puck. I have liked DeBrusk from jump. Still, your point has merit.

Thanks BerryMan. DoyleDude has always maintained that Sweeney is a genius but he didn’t pick the 3 best available. I can understand missing out on 1 or 2, but 3? In a row?

Imagine this if you will, at centre Barzal, left wing Connor, right wing Boeser. Suffrin Suckatash BerryMan that is one helluva line!

I’ve never said Sweeney is a genius. It’s pretty common knowledge Scott Bradley is the genius in Beantown.

Funny thing with your dream line is Chabot is far and away the best of the players Boston passed up. Not picking him is the biggest fuckup of that 2015 draft.

Well then there Scott Bradley ain’t no Genius with debauchery in 2015.

I understand how excellent Chabot is. I was just imagining that line, which is crazy to imagine. Bradley’s genius must’ve taken a day off that day cause WTF happened is beyond explanation.

What’s going on with Cody Glass? He’s nowhere to be found.

Is Bradley running the amateur scouting?

I’m just saying he’s a smart hockey man. His dad Bart is the guy who recommended that Harry Sinden steel Cam Neely from the Canucks back in the day.

Still in camp, apparently had a great camp. Vegas is a bit tougher team to make than the Canucks.

So his dad did something smart at one time, that makes the kids smart?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

For now, but when Marchand and Bergeron start to fade it sure would be nice to have a 1c and 1w to replace them. They could have single handedly kept the laughs in mediocrity if they didn’t blow that draft.

He’s worked in scouting and management there for 25 years. The team has been one of the leagues best over that time period, so there’s that. But maybe guys like Doug Maclean are smarter hockey guys, right?

Then why did you use the father as an example of the kid's talent?

I mentioned it in passing but whatevs Boss. I think 25 years with one team and a lot of success speaks to one’s ability to do a job. Maybe the guys who switch teams five or six times in that time span are the real wizards.
