.Why is this interesting to Canuck fans? Because the players that may become available from the Rangers and say teams
like the Leaves, , may be more attractive then a player say like Eriksson, or Baertschi. I do not think the Canucks
are planning on moving Sutter at all. Not this year...May have to re-think that now.
There are other ways for the Canucks to gain cap space but we wont talk about that yet. It's early still.
note; a little worried......
Lol, you worry waaaaaaaaaay too much Micky, let Danny hook you up!

That's crazy $9.5M AAV, you'd think TBL would wait to see how he does in the next playoffs, as he & his team got swept 4-0 in the 1st round, I mean he likely wouldn't get anymore than that anyways next offseason. But yeah sure he's worth it as a Vezina trophy winner already at 25.
*shrugs*
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

He's been over a point a game for 4 seasons -- since his Age 23 season.

He had more points than Dadanov the season before he came over 2 year ago. Dadanov has been real solid in Florida.

He's averaged a point a game in the KHL playoffs over the past 4 seasons.

Translations from one league to the next aren't uniform across leagues or players, and I don't know enough about the guys game to estimate how it will translate. But the raw numbers are very good in the world's second best league. New Jersey is taking 3 point shots.

Wonder if Vegas had options within the Western Conference?

I could understand them not wanting him landing there.

As well he was very Freddie Andersen-like in the Columbus series and was a major reason why TBay lost. Yzerman's departure already being felt in SW FLA.

Yup. Stevie Y will need 3-5 years (depends on his staff, and how much front office turnover is needed) to turn Detroit back into a perennial powerhouse, but he is the guy to do it.

Senators have now acquired Ryan Callahan's contract, putting them above the cap floor and likely out of the Loui Sweepstakes.
