Yeah the owner always commits to put competitive teams together. Rebuilding right now but in junior you can do it easily in 2-3 years if you have the funds.
This kid could put up Bedard and McKenna type WHL numbers though. Don’t think the Rockets have ever had a scorer of that calibre from the entry draft!

Re: Random Hockey Shit
So Crosby.
Not a quiet career by any means but quietly (arguably) in the realm of finishing his career as the 2nd top scorer in league history.
All things being equal Dionne, Francis and Howe he will/could potentially surpass this year.
Howe (if not this year), Corns buddy and maybe even Jagr next year (assuming he re-ups).
He is signed only through 26/27 but does he continue onwards and become the second ever to hit 2000 points?
Heady stuff.
99, Lemieux, Jagr, Ovi, Crosby, McDavid....as much as we are fucked over as Canuck fans we have been blessed to see some elite level hockey players in our lives.
Also of note, in the top 10 are 4 players who played significant roles in Penguin successes over the years.
Pretty lucky fan base.

Re: Random Hockey Shit
If you talk about quiet careers - Ron Francis has to be tops in that department. Every other player in the top 10 is a household name.
Considering Crosby's early injury history, it's actually quite remarkable to see him up there. He's already a legend.

Yeah agree on Francis.
Every time I see him up there the same thought strikes me as you suggest.
Crazy thing about Ron is he hit 100 points only 3 times in his career and 90 only 4 others.
So consistent as fuck that dude.
