The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

As Eby and Carney are busy throwing each other under the bus trying to explain the condo scam, it all looks like the announcement was nothing more than excuse to meet up in Vancouver for a football game.

Even the CBC can't push it.

My solution is much simpler. Move the homeless encampments indoors. Squatters. No bureaucracy. No paperwork. No tax dollars. Just a cart up and down the hallways once a week yelling "Bring out your dead" to scoop up the heroin overdoses.

Funny but sad because it is true.

Still a few years away from actually signing the contract and then more time to get the first delivery, probably by 2035 or just when the Canucks are having a parade for their 2nd SC win. :mex:

Carney and Trump go to a soccer game. It's not a joke, but sounds like an intro. Trump goes home with nothing that some mercury can't fix, and Carney comes home with some new tarrifs. "Another "Carney at the Bat". "but there is no joy in Mudville—mighty Carney has struck out." Sorry for a baseball analogy about a soccer game in a hockey group. Fuck it. not sorry. From my perspective, if this was a ball game, Carney would have struck out He was a no show for the last few negotiations, and didn't even send government officials. Then a swing and a miss trying for a home run with some good ol' Bay Street schmoozing during the game.
