Vegas beat the shit out of Colorado. They're in on the forecheck hitting to hurt and the smaller Avs had no answers

You think Torts would want to come back? He did say he liked the Sedins. The murphy bed is probably still there.

Carolina plays a similar forecheck game, tons of pressure on the D. It is like a swarm at times, for both teams. Vegas players are playing fully committed. Carolina is starting to against Montreal. Vegas has the advantage in net and that may be the difference, should Carolina get by Montreal that is.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2026 9:58 pm Vegas beat the shit out of Colorado. Nawm Vegas is just too fine tuned, committed and smelling it. They got this. The saving grace is that Leaf fans will blow a gasket if Marner gets a Cup.
The only HW the Canucks need

For interests sake through game 3....last night I not have tallied yet....
Colorado led 217-151 in shot attempts
103 - 76 in shots on goal

Marner is a very good player.
Always was.
His fait accompli has always been the team he was drafted by.

AVs inability to score was unexpected. Beating the shit out of the opposition is clearly still a plausible strategy in today's NHL.
Don't see Montreal miraculously finding the answer to the Carolina pressure so can the GNs kick the shit out of the canes as well? They play similar styles but the large angry wingers on Vegas should be the advantage outside of the crease

I didn't see Vegas flat lining Colorado. I guess I'll be supporting the Carolina Himicanes for the SCF.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!
Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition
Never expected the Avs to get swept. Go Canes or Montreal.
Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition
I agree, Vegas is meaner, but it’s more than just the big wingers. Vegas has better players.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2026 6:37 am Don't see Montreal miraculously finding the answer to the Carolina pressure so can the GNs kick the shit out of the canes as well? Eichel, Marner, Stone, Theodore > Aho, Svechkinov, Ehlers, Slavin.
The top players on Vegas are individually better than their Carolina counterparts. When you look at the depth I think it’s close talent-wise.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Av's run with 2 reclamation project goalies, how Oiler of them, Vegas bets on one and he gets hotter than a cheap motel in a Junior Hockey celebration.

Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition
The Stankoven of despair has opened its door in Montreal. I've never seen a series that was already over after a team only went down 2-1 but this is that series I guess. Montreal should just forfeit so we can get on with the finals

Montreal managed to steal a win in this series thanks to Carolina’s rust, but this should have been a sweep.
