Carter Hart may be the best goalie left playing this post season.

And it may not be close.

Too bad he is a douchebag. Another reason to hope Vegas screws the pooch in the next 4.

Not sure if it's to bad or not.

He is what he is.

I suppose that was an off the cuff facetious response?

Personally I would like to see Vegas win.

I think the Torts story then rivals the Robinson/Devils story in hockey lore.

Torts-Hart story.

Pfft... how did they get into the 3rd round? We got people who can block that many shots in one period.

This looks more like the Avs team who I thought was going to take out Vegas in 4 (I guess it'll be in 6 now  ).

Makar back is the simple answer.

He is the engine for that team.

Nate (deservedly) gets the cred but no Cale, not the same team.

Vegas has made Avs look ordinary. It helps that both Makar and McKinnon are playing hurt. But nobody predicted this. I think the Cup is their’s for the taking.

Torts is looking like a genius for sitting Hill and going with Carter Hart.

I think he knew what he had in Hart from his Philly days, and now he’s getting that with Hart behind a much deeper and defensively aware team.

Hart and Marner would be the two leading names for the Conn Smythe if Vegas prevails for a Cup. I’d give it to Hart for stoning Colorado.

Quit the redemption story for Hart. I read an article last week that said Torts kept in touch with him and was very supportive throughout his ordeal. I guess it was predictable that he would back him when he got to Vegas.

Marner showing he wasn't the problem in Toronto. Everyone plays bigger in Vegas.

They lucked into very favourable circumstances during expansion but have a management team that could take advantage of it and continue to build a competitive team. Fearless in their moves.
