The Abby Canucks played like a cult in that run.
Ya’ll should give some credit to Manny for that.
I think you guys are missing the Pat Quinn vibe Manny is throwing off.
There I said it.
Hiring RJ means Manny will be coach sooner than later.
RJ going elsewhere means Manny’s going elsewhere, Canucks loss.
Then why did they completely miss the dance this year?
Not saying Malhotra is a bad coach, just saying that I really don't get the hype on him and Johnson.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
I might have something to do with being a developmental league and they deciding not to bring the team back.
If you want to blame RJ for that okay, but that seems more like a Ruthrerford/Allvin decision:
This core was gone or injured.
Silovs, Karlsson, Sasson, Nelson, Raty, Blais, Di Guiseppe, Lekkerimaki, McWard, Hirose, Brisebois, Mancini, Woo
“Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the war room.”

For the record, I don't love RJ at all. I just don't love any of the other names thrown out so far. Most of whom have as much or less experience running a hockey team. In that case maybe better to go with the devil you know who already has a head start knowing the franchise, players, prospects, staff, scouts, etc., inside out. AHL success or lack there of, whatever, not make or break imo.
And he wasn't a TFG guy originally, so I can easily disassociate him from those clowns. Way more integrity, could you see him repeat the Boudreau debacle?
That is provided he can work under a new reputable POHO. Wouldn't want him running the show solo.
All that said, I can just as easily buy into wiping the slate completely clean. But is that really happening if AIG and JR are handling the hiring? I just really don't want another failed retread type like Bergevin or Gillis.
