Rangers have announced they will not increase ticket prices for next season as per their usual policy when the team is not meeting expectations.

The difference between corporate vice "Mom & Pop" owners, perhaps. I can imagine one following marketing data and business models where the other treats it as an expensive vanity project/equity.

We'll see how many suckers will still pay more to watch next season with just as putrid a squad.

Look at it this way. No matter the model, the Canucks will be able to legitimately raise prices after 26-27 because no matter how poorly they do, they will at least match expectations.

These guys are not only the worst managers in the league by a country mile, they're the worst in the history of this sorry franchise. And they seem to be coming back next year!

If they win the lottery somehow, they'll fuck that up too by taking the wrong player.

Counting on a healthy Demko and signing him for three more years is mind-numbing stupidity on their part. Have they not been following the team for the past four years or so? And that's just one screw-up. You don't even know where to start with these guys. Pettersson? Pettersson???!!!
