Why is it shocking?

Henrik Sedin: 1330 (105) GP/ 1070 (78) PTs / 680 (58) PIM / +165 (-16)

Brad Marchand: 1146 (180) GP / 1030 (158) PTs / 1149 (207) PIM / +256 (+47)

(Playoff numbers in parentheses)

Marchand has performed at a high level on several different rosters with multiple linemates.

He has been part of winning teams at every level.

Leave it to Mëds to randomly bring up a player no one was talking about, in a Past Canuck Players thread.

Keep on, keeping on my man.

Shocking that you would prefer Marchand to a Swede.

Sometimes ya gotta 'splain 'em I guess.

Was a joke.

Ffs.

As was the second comment that you didn't bite on.

...thanks for the stats though bro.

All fair game - and I would welcome the MarshRat on this team - even at this point in his career.

Since JPP wants this (rightly so) about Canucks   ...I'd take Matt Fucking Cooke on this team right now.

You know who I'd take right now? Mike Peca.

He'd be my 1C.

Right fucking now.

Throw in a Cookie and a MayDay who has to clean up his messes.

We might lose, but we'll start some shit for shit's sake.

Blueger 2C. Kampf 3C.

SadAlien can ride the pine with Vidal for the last spot.

Enrico Ciccone. He was an ankle skater but never turned away from anything (probably couldn't turn either but who cares)

Well in this case I was reading it through a the context of you pretty much tuning out after 2011, and Marchand being a rather hated individual in the eyes of Canuck fans.

Yeah, sorry JPP.....

Gimme a bottom-6 of.....

Momesso - Steamer - Hunter
Sandlak - Lapierre - May

With Cloutier in net.

The tank would still be on.....but so would every-fucking-thing under the sun if you looked the wrong way at someone.

That certainly would be a fun team to watch. Somehow get Ruutu in there for that fuckin' punchable grin that drove opponent's batshit.

I know we rarely get our way as Canuck fans - but Hockey God's willing, we see at *least* a 6th of that toughness in our lineup next year.

Guys, isn't it obvious fhis that management is allergic to toughness? These two must be launched to Pluto before the healing can begin.

These guys are a burning shithouse on wheels that has to be taken care of first.
