A interesting interview with Cory Schneider regarding hip surgery:

a full year for %100 recovery, Thatchers 30 and already had multiple surgeries

Yeah...I can't see a world where Demko is doing us any favors moving forward as a reliable (or even semi so) #1 goalie.
Perhaps his best ability for our desired (fan wise at least) "tank and build" is his inability......
....to play that is.
Beating a dead horse here but the goaltending choices this regime has made in the past 12 months leave a lot to be desired.
Add it to the wtf were they thinking poll....

Can’t see Demko being good next season, but I think next season should be another tank year. If they do well in the draft, the season after next Demko can hopefully return to form, and the team can start winning.

There are some dead horses worth beating…..when one cannot beat its former rider.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Re: The 25-26 Injury Thread
Let Demko have another year off. It's not like we need his cap space to open next season anyway so him hitting LTIR after game #1 is fairly inconsequential.
Depending on how it all plays out, him returning later next season and playing like the Demko of old could end up netting a solid return with only 2 years left on his deal.

Meh, Chef was waaaay off the rails re: TACO. I feared for his sickness. His Trump derangement was not normal.

With his injury history i doubt there'd be many suitors, if any.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sat Jan 31, 2026 2:10 pm Let Demko have another year off. It's not like we need his cap space to open next season anyway so him hitting LTIR after game #1 is fairly inconsequential.

He was very opinionated on Trump but given the recent Epstein release info coupled with all the empire destroying fuck ups in only 12 months...I'd say he way bang onCarl Yagro wrote: ↑Sat Jan 31, 2026 5:57 pm Meh, Chef was waaaay off the rails re: TACO.
