Of course it's Blankinen. Of course.
You can't score on Blanky in the Shootout. It's not possible.

I've yet to win in something like 20+ attempts.
Losing is my superpower

Next BLA up.
Might as well keep Sherwood and Kane. We're making a run, folks.

Based on what you say, lose or win we will know what the HG's have in store for us.

I don’t mind winning, even as it hurts the draft lottery chances. It’s more fun, and more importantly, it it’s a confidence builder for the younger players that carries over (they know they can win), and most agree there’s a bit of a culture problem (or maybe just a directionless room problem as Hughes was no longer “in”). Nothing brings a room together like winning.Carl Yagro wrote: ↑Sat Dec 20, 2025 7:09 pm Might as well keep Sherwood and Kane. We're making a run, folks.
But man, I don’t want this season’s deadline to come and go with Kane and Sherwood. *Maybe* you hold on to Kane if you are back in a playoff run and you can’t get a 3d or better for him. Because then the return really isn’t worth it if the games still matter. And while I wouldn’t mind seeing Sherwood re-signed, if he’s getting the Canucks a first or it’s equivalent, you have to make the trade. Perhaps the only reason to wait is to figure out whether it’s a first you prefer or an almost ready guy with equivalent or better value who can join all of these whippersnappers.
