What's with the infatuation with those ugly fucking things? It's like a prerequisite for your average native lady to have at least one dangling from her rearview mirror.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26
A tidbit from Michael Russo, who covers Minnesota for The Athletic:
"Later that night, he (Hughes) met up for a goodbye dinner with Boeser, as well as the Canucks' Conor Garland, Filip Hronek and Tyler Myers." Smith and Russo said.
No Petey.
Not a big deal in and of itself. No surprises as to who went to dinner with him, and it was a close circle vice a wider team event. That said, it’s another data point towards the theory that Petey is the cancer. The impression before The Split last year was that Hughes and Petey were friends. Now, evidently not so much.
Again, nothing to really serve as any kind of smoking gun but perhaps something we will look back on in future as a clue we had in front of us.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26
The guys who were rumoured to have shown up for the JTM reunion earlier and even the ones who were happy to see him and just say hi, should have said it all.
The same raucous chants of the paying customers during the return should also tell you something. It's not some fake sentiment you're forced into like the pre-game original land-owners stuff they were pushing. It's nothing like the media-driven agenda.
I know a certain cook is on hiatus from a pissy mood syndrome, but I agree with completely purging the old, stinky, bad vibe/juju of the old core.

Just another interesting 'clue' as the captain leaves town, and there's no official player sendoff. Maybe the room is still toxic? Who knows - but I'm guessing there are a few players happy to be on a winning streak since he left.

So Carolina lost Jarvis long term. Can they cover the Pettersson contract if the Canucks retain a mill or 2?
