Petey with 17 points in 20 games, after a slow start.
Is he getting his alien mojo back?

Corn is running away with this thing. Probably already got the GDT title locked up.

20 games in? That's like saying Frank Cannon has the Pool locked up!Carl Yagro wrote: ↑Sun Nov 16, 2025 5:00 pm Corn is running away with this thing. Probably already got the GDT title locked up.

Arseholes. We were down 2-0 with just 1 shot. Now, I come to check back at half time, and we win 6-0. Did Foote load the guys up with some amphetamines during the 1st intermission? Or maybe Shorty's 420 wore off?
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

I expect you to continue going on a few extended runs.
Why not? This team has defied the odds so far this season.
Hell, even I could probably get a couple of wins if I threw my hat into the GDT posting business... and I likely have the all-time worst GDT record in the history of CC.

Maybe the secret squirrel plan is to let their goalie go stale by purposely avoiding putting pucks on net until they flip the magic switch and start throwing everything onto said stale goalie

Well that was a lucky 3rd period.
Petey's game is changing, and not consistantly offensively, but being a harder player to play against than he has been historically which leads to offense. Coaches love that shit - Blocking shots, separating players from the puck and being an outlet for his defense while creating a bit of space for his linemates.
Ugly sucker punch on Garly. Didn't like seeing that, but would he need to do that if the Baldies would bring in a Sabourin, Olivier type? Kane who?
Lankinen picking it up a bit. Hopefully he stays healthy and plays back to back.
DPetey is proving the miner wrong. Had a great game, and strong pivots, especially behind the goal line.
Take it and run.

I'd rather rest Lankinen, he'll be our starter for most of the year.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Sun Nov 16, 2025 7:55 pm Lankinen picking it up a bit. Hopefully he stays healthy and plays back to back.

You got that right. They can lose to anyone and also beat anyone. How do you prepare for that as a fan???
