Re: Another one bites the dust
What was truly ugly in all of this beyond the assassination itself was how the right immediately jumped on the blame the radical left bandwagon:
“THEY, THEY, THEY”
Who truly is fanning the flames of unrest, division, “civil war” and hate? It’s not love thy country anymore, it’s love thy religion, party and race.
Donald Trump claimed that “radical left” rhetoric of comparing “wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world’s worst mass murderers and criminals” is “directly responsible for the terrorism that we’re seeing in our country today.”
Katie Miller, the wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, posted on X, “It’s a real treat to see all these Liberals condemn political violence now. You called us Hitler. You called us Nazis. You called us Racists. You have blood on your hands.”
Elon Musk - “The Left is the party of murder.”
Laura Loomer Far Right Political Activist and Conspiracy Theorist- - The Left are terrorists.” Loomer added that Kirk’s death only portends “more targeted” assassinations. “You could be next,” she warned. “We must shut these lunatic leftists down. Once and for all. The Left is a national security threat,”
Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, shouted above the commotion from across the room, “You all caused this,” to which one Democrat could be heard responding, “Pass some gun laws!”
Piers Morgan British Conservative and Republican Bootlicker - also criticized what he claimed to be “shameful” coverage of Kirk’s death, posting that it “confirms everything I’ve always suspected about the woke left — they’re repulsive.”
Sean Davis, the CEO and co-founder of right-wing media outlet the Federalist, focused blame on the Democratic Party, which he called “a domestic terrorist organization whose most fanatics will not hesitate to murder their political opponents.”
Wisconsin Republican Rep. Derrick Van Orden - The left and their policies are leading America into a civil war. And they want it. Just like the democrat party wanted our 1st civil war. The gloves are off. May the mighty wrath of vengeance fall upon the Brown Shirts who are responsible for this,” Van Orden said in another post. “The democratic Party has been fostering, a 21st century Civil War. I would encourage them if you look at the results of the last one that they started,” he said in another.
Far-right radio show host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who was ordered in 2022 to pay more than $1 billion to the families of Sandy Hook over his claim that the 2012 school shooting that killed 26 people, including 20 children, was fake, said in a livestream on his InfoWars channel: “This is a war, this is a war, this is a war. The left’s coming with their violence. They’re coming with more attacks. And we can imagine the hell it’ll be if we let them win and if we submit to them. So we’re not scared of their attacks.”
Far-right influencer Andrew Tate, a self-described “misogynist,” posted on X: “Civil war.”
“I’m ready for civil war,” Brian Eastwood, another conservative influencer, posted. “You want a fight and you’re going to get it.”
Kristan Hawkins, founder of anti-abortion group Students for Life of America, posted: “This is a new civil war.”
Chaya Raichik, who runs the pro-Trump, anti-left account “Libs of TikTok,” posted, “THIS IS WAR.”
Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene posted on X before Kirk’s death was confirmed: “I’m praying that [Kirk] survives. And I’m praying that this country rises up and ends this.”
Patrick Casey, host of conservative podcast Restoring Order, posted, “It’s time to bring the hammer down on the left.”
Matt Forney Right Wing Journalist and Influencer referring to an arson attack on the German parliament in 1933 that the Nazi’s blamed on communists and used as a pretext to suspend a swath of civil liberties - “Charlie Kirk being assassinated is the American Reichstag fire. It is time for a complete crackdown on the left. Every Democratic politician must be arrested and the party banned under RICO [Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act]. Every libtard commentator must be shut down. Stochastic terrorism. They caused this. The left must pay. Ban the Democratic Party. Shut down CNN and MSNBC. Military tribunals. If you are to the left of Lindsay Graham, you belong in prison. YOU CAUSED THIS.”
Joel Webbon, a conservative Texas pastor, posted on X: “The Left will not stop until they are forced to. The Right must gain power, keep power, and wield power righteously.”
Fox News host Jesse Watters said, “Whether we want to accept it or not, they are at war with us. And what are we going to do about it? How much political violence are we going to tolerate?”
Conservative Political Strategist Joey Mannarino - “The Democrat Party must be classified as a domestic terror organization and their members & leaders treated accordingly. Enough is enough.”
Conservative influencer Christopher Rufo invoked former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s crackdown on leftist groups and the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s, urging, “It is time, within the confines of the law, to infiltrate, disrupt, arrest, and incarcerate all of those who are responsible for this chaos.”
Stewart Rhodes, who founded the far-right anti-government militia Oath Keepers, said on InfoWars that he would be “rebuilding the Oath Keepers and we will be doing protection again” in light of Kirk’s death, Wired reported. Rhodes urged Trump to “do what’s right, what’s necessary,” including invoking the Insurrection Act to “declare the left in this country is in obvious open rebellion against the law of the United States.” Rhodes had been convicted of seditious conspiracy after the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol but his sentence was commuted by Trump earlier this year.
U.S. pardon attorney Ed Martin, a conservative activist who formerly served as the interim U.S. attorney for D.C., quoted Bible verse Romans 12:19 in a post on X: “For it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.’”
Jonathan Keeperman, a far-right publisher who goes by the pseudonym “Lomez,” said, “Nothing is off the table. This is how I feel. This is how I feel right now. Nothing is off the table.”
“They shot the voice of reason through the throat,” Auron MacIntyre, a host at right-wing media company the Blaze, posted. “So now it’s time to become unreasonable. Tomorrow I want to see lists,” MacIntyre added in another post. “Domestic terror leaders in organizations like Antifa and BLM scooped up in the middle of the night Doors kicked in, the FBI swinging through their windows.”
William Wolfe, a former first-term Trump Administration official and the executive director of the Center for Baptist Leadership, posted, “The. Left. Must. Be. Destroyed.” He added in another post, “The Democrats and the Left must be crushed. The goal for Republicans in the next ten years shouldn’t just be to win elections, but to destroy the Democrat Party entirely and salt the earth underneath it.”
Davis of the Federalist posted, “If Democrats thought Charlie was radical, they have no idea what’s coming next.”

Yeah, good luck with that, his death just took American politics to a whole other shittier level of hate and blame. They are all (left and right) a bunch of fucking triggered brats.5thhorseman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 6:46 am
That said, I hope we can move beyond arguing about whether the shooters motivations came from the left or the right. It doesn't matter. He's a nutcase and deserves to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Hopefully both left and right can agree on that.

We haven’t even begun to understand and respect what the affect social media is imprinting on the minds and emotions of the youth today. It’s truly out of control.

Re: Another one bites the dust
I wonder how much of this is due to the bots. If we put up a Great Firewall like China, how much lower would the flames be? Maybe we could have decent political discourse even with extreme right and left-wingers doing their thing. In a society where free speech is a fundamental right, the idea is that allowing these extremes brings bad ideas into the light instead of being suppressed. The court of public opinion will judge them for what they are . This concept is being stress-tested right now but the bots are running too much interference.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 7:35 am We haven’t even begin to understand and respect what the affect social media is imprinting on the minds and emotions of the youth today. I still maintain that the Scandinavian countries have/had it right with mandatory military service. It would weed out weirdos to help identify fucked up young people before they grab their daddy's Mauser and go roof hopping while training the balanced young men to become an effective defensive militia should the need arise.
Per is it true Sverige has reinstated this or is it still in discussion?

Re: Another one bites the dust
Personally i believe, never more so than today, that our political leaders and media, those at the top of the chain, need to do better, much better. They are supposed to foster critical thought, respectful debate, be above it all, be selfless, respect to all. I’m just not seeing that from a certain party south of the border at the moment. The extreme right today all have this unique perspective on how an American should be, which isn’t inclusive to all - colours, religions, races, definitions and identities, etc. The extreme right have this a grandiose idea that I would suggest isn’t all that different from what Hitler had envisioned. Just saying. I think we all know who is giving birth to the Tyler Robinson’s right now, or even the Kirk’s and Fuentes. Woke? Is that evil or something, lol? Empathy is bad now? Caring about the environment and all walks of life, Medicare for everyone and you’re a snowflake? Fucking hell.

Re: Another one bites the dust
What needs to be addressed is why so many people are flocking to any extreme viewpoint AND why are people now so prone to accept violence? Did you see the passengers on the train just pretending nothing happened or even filming that Ukranian woman dying on the train in Charlotte? What the flying fuck?

It'll take a significant event like another world war to dramatically change things now. I'd say it's an inevitability that we are steaming towards WW3.

Re: Another one bites the dust
The momentum is taking us that way, we are very close to killing the opposition and feeling good about it. Once we get there the desire to kill the opposition becomes second nature. We really could use more centre from both sides right now before this shit gets beyond the point of no return. The POTUS certainly isn’t the right man for the job as we can all see, I couldn’t care less if the right or left wins the next election, we just need a better example in the White House regardless of party. This guy is taking us to WWIIICousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 8:45 am It'll take a significant event like another world war to dramatically change things now. And here lies the problem, lol. Blame the other party. My party right or wrong. “Who us?” Noooooo”. Fucking hell, I hate this prevailing attitude, it ain’t helping. We all need to start getting back closer to centre instead of fostering hate.

How is the healthy? “involuntary lethal injection…just kill them” - Brian Kilmeade - Fox News
But apparently the left are radicals. Fucking hell, people gather yourselves. And wonder why there are Tyler Robinsons?

You’re new to this? My daughter is 18. I have a couple young labourers working for me, social media subculture is their lives, the places they go, the stuff they see I didn’t know existed. This subculture is nothing new with the next generation. It’s weird to us only because we didn’t grow up in it, they are born into it, it’s their norm not ours. We are in throes of a shift in human behaviour. And the baby boomer leaders of today are completely disconnected with the youth off today. They all think it’s just tweeting on X, Facebook and Instagram, lol. This new subculture is moulding the future humans. Social Studies is intense shit now.Cornuck wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 9:37 amThis is what I've been reading, and it's quite eye-opening. I agree the new communication infrastructure is changing the way information is processed and what information is presented to each individual, siloed by algorithms. It definitely changes things, in ways nearly as radical as the printing press.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 7:35 am We haven’t even begun to understand and respect what the affect social media is imprinting on the minds and emotions of the youth today. I have all sorts of theories as to how this exacerbates radicalization, but let’s have some perspective. 100 years ago radical movements abounded, leading to radical murderous regimes, bloody civil wars, and the Second World War.
Edit add: so I think this vile stuff we see, I think it’s always right there, beneath the surface. The remarkable thing is how long these dark forces have been mostly held in check, and how in that process, we’ve achieved remarkable prosperity and political freedom and equality. But people feel both are now on the decline….
