Just Not ready

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

The comical thing is that Trump is basically kicking Canada in the teeth for taxes that probably shouldn't exist, and most Canadian's would rather see not exist.

Fuck this country and the British French-fucked horse it road in on. I was proud to be a Canadian, but the politics of late, and the citizens that walk around content with it so long as it doesn't effect them, are destroying the legacy that was Canada.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Most Canadians would rather not see taxes on American companies that puts billions in our coffers?

Not when said taxes will be paid for at the consumer level.

Interesting that many countries have a similar tax including the UK which just signed a trade agreement with the US...

Curious why you oppose the tax and what your understanding is of the tax?...

From a negotiating point of view take a breath and understand that its all part of the process and there is no reason to overreact ...

These are American companies paying corporate taxes to the US. Canada should have a piece of that pie if they are doing business in our country.

From Bloomberg Canada;
These extraterritorial taxes are part of a broader OECD effort to improve tax fairness globally, dubbed Pillar One and Pillar Two
Trump has been complaining that the OECD is unfair for American companies for some time, so no surprise that he decided to rail against the digital services tax although you have to wonder why it took him so long?...

Regarding negotiating in general, I have no problem with the Canadians keeping or even adding annoyances to the Americans as a negotiating tactic...

But its not for the faint of heart, so can understand why some might not have the the stomach for it and would want to cave to the Americans...

Canadians should en masse line up on the border on Canada Day to moon the US.

Trump getting that many votes and still having so many people all over the internet gobbling his spoonfuls of blatant horseshit while feverishly defending it is comparable to the WrestleMania president from Idiocracy.

If Trump told them to spray Gatorade on the crops you just know these retards would
