Like the pick. Hopefully they have the patience to develop him rather than trading him away.
We'll burn that bridge when we get to it

Islanders walk out of the 2025 nhl entry draft with Schaefer, Eklund and Aitcheson. Not a bad day. Added to Callum Ritchie, acquired from Colorado in the Brock Nelson trade, the Isles got a decent prospect pool.

Nice pick by the Blackhawks getting Frondell. A beast of a talent. The hawks have done very well in the last 3 drafts - Berard, Levshunov and Frondell.

Misa will fit in nice on the wing with centres Celebrini and Smith

Utah has a real solid future adding O’Brien to the pile

The Broad Street Bullies - Martone and Nesbitt. Tockey Hockey

The California Redwoods - Anaheim Ducks adding another giant to their team of giants in McQueen.

If someone worked wirh Dobson, like say ..... Larry Robinson he could he a force. Even now he's a 25 year old top pairing D man with his flaws. I watched him play a bit in his 19 year old year and he tilted the ice like Makar or Hughes.

You trade a proven top 40 D man who is 25 for 16/17..... What's the cost to get Bo back?

The islanders look like they are dismantling things

Or a canucks starting goalie in 2001. The crowd was chanting "feeee lixxxxx". We got it switched to "Snow Man!" But, that wax Potvin's last game. Fuck, were we ever a goalie graveyard for a good decade.

It was surprising. Last Canadian they picked in the first round - Jake Virtanen, passing on Nylander. Will passing on Eklund come back to haunt us? Time will tell

Are the Islanders ripping it to shreds?

Fuck this is tedious. I watched a couple innings of the blue jays game between picks 9 and 14.

Carolina can always be counted on to take five minutes, then call a timeout and take another five minutes, then announce that they are trading down for two or three additional picks. And then repeat the process 15-20 more times.

Like the Canucks pick, sounds like a decent chance of being a solid 2/3 C. Read his hockey IQ is solid, so that’s good.

Reminds me of Kesler.

That was painfully the worst draft I have ever watched. Well I skipped most of it is was so painful. Look forward to it being over so we can assess what we have then get ready for FA.
The only HW the Canucks need

Note to self:

Next year pvr and FF to podium announcements only. Watched it live just for live posting here and reading/listening to immediate opinions...not worth sitting around 4.5 hrs for.
