No. An undetected attack, after the negotiations had paused, with no forward progress. Against an enemy that was still actively working to genocide another nation, or maybe many nations. But, you got the airplane part right.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 4:59 pmNot a sneak attack during ongoing negotiations?
Alrighty then...

You are talking to a blacksmith from North Battleford. You'd have better luck getting blood from a stone.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 6:11 pmLOL -Negotiations were scheduled to resume in 2-3 days.Tciso wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 5:51 pmNo. An undetected attack, after the negotiations had paused, with no forward progress. I'm not sure, you can correct me if I'm wrong, but might Japan have suspected that the US was working on a nuclear weapon?
That'd be another similarity.

A nation totally in bed with terrorists cannot be allowed to get their slimy paws on The Bomb.
Iran was never going to stop... negotiations were a smokescreen.
The world is a safer place today... rather than the opposite.
Thank God that Trump had the power to make the call.

Who is from North Battleford? I'll make that 90 minut drive to settle this over beers every day, all day!Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 7:12 pmYou are talking to a blacksmith from North Battleford. The two sides still seem to be trading missile strikes, Mëds.
Yeah, sounds like Iran agrees to stop hostilities if Israel stops the airstrikes. Trump is touting a total ceasefire.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 7:57 pmThe two sides still seem to be trading missile strikes, Mëds.
About right. Iran's new liberal president Pezeshkian is kind of a limp dick. Apparently, he turned down a full defense treaty with Russia just recently that would have prevented this, as well as a missile defense umbrella, and a tripartite agreement with Russia and China, all in the ridiculously naive hope of making peace with Trump. And now they have a delegation in Moscow begging for help. Of course, Putin is not a happy camper at the moment..Mëds wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 8:30 pmYeah, sounds like Iran agrees to stop hostilities if Israel stops the airstrikes. Israel will likely only stop if the US forces that.....but I think a total surrender by Iran has to happen.
I'd say it means a long, hard war...
