The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

I feel obligated to point out that there’s been another quality contributor here who has taken extended leaves of absence from this hockey talk message board…..yet he returns time and again. I always forget his name though…..
That dude is special though.
Oh, I wasn’t referring to Chef! His temporary leaves of absence are always scheduled by Corn.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

I'm curious if Wiebo is ok. I can see him putting his grey Lieutenant costume on while he rides his white horse.

Who is Wiebo on these boards?
Anyway, I think I have had enough of arguing on social media, regarding political views. I'm not going to change anyone's mind and no one on social media is going to change my mind. Also, it's been a long time since I cared about hockey, so with that, I bid you all "adios amigos". I'm taking a long break from posting.

I get it. The thing that gets my goat a bit is the whole Trump = good.... liberal = bad. Why can't they both be bad? Trump is not a dyed in the wool Republican. He's a psychopath. Wanting to take over countries and his constant diatribes about everything and anything seems like a modern day Adolph Hitler. Its funny - on this board if you speak against the Orange Man you get a half dozen people calling you a troll. Lay off Trumpypoo or Lord Trump. Mostly the same gang were ardent supporters of James Elmer Benning. The genius, Lord Benning etc. But that's not trolling at all.
Stay well ExPat. Hope to see you back again.
Topper is Wiebo Ludwig.

I listened to the professor g (I think) podcast with Carney today and I have to say...even though I consider myself a centralist with a right leaning bias...I think Rikster might have been right
He really is so much more qualified than Polly to guide this country through this period of turbulence. I might be fan even

Not sure what that is but give that link a watch. Compare that to the vapid drivel PP keeps regurgitating...he sounds no different than turdo incessantly whining on and on about Harper
Carney is a conservative sounding liberal or a more central option, if you will. He's going to roll over the cons

And then give us more of the same that we’ve had for the past 10 years.

...and another ones gone, another ones gone, another one bites the dust.
Expat is Docs fault too?
What the heck is going on, Donny? Why are these people leaving the forum?

Yep, he's already in government. It's continuity vs marginal change.
Carney must wince at some of the things he's being forced to say by his handlers in this election.
