Here’s the Achilles heel for team Canada against the Americans - The Tkachuk brothers. They won’t have an answer for them. They will get under their skin in more ways than one allowing Americans like Matthews, Eichel and Hughes to work their magic. For some reason Canada can’t produce skilled power forward agitators like the Tkachuk bros anymore, and goaltenders. Those two areas used to be our bread and butter. They grew on trees, not anymore. Where are the new Primeau’s, Shanahan’s, Thornton’s, Getzlaf’s, Lindros’, Scott Steven’s, Prongers, Benn in his prime, etc.,??? Where did they all go?

That’ll be the difference, and goaltending.

Back in my day we used to just called that multiple personality disorder and were right into risk management, which is the proper way to do it. Then the pencilnecks with degrees showed up telling people they aren't wrong, they just have a new set of problems to deal with now. I disagree with that interpretation full stop.

The Kachunks are easily goaded into penalties and off their games. Canada yanked Bo's cuz and loaded in the chin up king Sam Bennett because he's excellent and drawing the firecrackers out of their comfort zones.

Oh and Sidney Crosby and Nathan McKinnon will eat that defense alive

The Kachunks are easily goaded into penalties and off their games. Canada yanked Bo's cuz and loaded in the chin up king Sam Bennett because he's excellent and drawing the firecrackers out of their comfort zones.

They’ll be a handful, Cuz. Disruption is what they do best. The key is not let them get under your skin, very hard to do though. It will be interesting but goaltending is a huge problem for us. America is a more well rounded team, no real weakness, their lineup possesses more colour than Team Canada’s, we lack a few things they have.

Even Bieksa said this was a game where you wish you had a Tom Wilson in the line-up. He would’ve done exactly what the Tkachuk’s are about to do. Shame. A big miss there in selecting. Tom has 24 goals this year, the guy can play, ffs. Also, Scheifele is having himself a helluva season, he should be there as well, he plays with grit as well.
