Was there particular teams of interest other than Winnipeg and Pittsburgh, or is this just an in general?

Red Wings are a surprise.

They're bit of a hot mess.

Opposite true of the Devils.

Helluva team to watch play.

The Jets appear to be a dead man walking. I'll give it another year, two max.

Flames are on a bit of a roll. Wolf looks like the real deal.

They completely outworked the Rags tonight, outshooting them by a wide margin. If they had an elite scorer, it wouldn't have been close. They played a full 60 minutes with no passengers. So, it's getting to the point that instead of cheering for them to tank, I'm cheering for them to make the playoffs. If they get to that point, they have lots of cap space and lots of draft picks, so they could potentially add a scorer at the deadline. Lots of hockey to be played yet, but they are trending up.

I can see some teams sleeping on Calgary on a road trip that sees them in Vancouver and Edmonton, and then paying for it. Wouldn't say they have a great chance at the playoffs, but they're not part of the basement league like Chicago, Anaheim or San Jose. Sort of in the mushy middle hoping to strike gold in the mid-round picks of the draft to change things.

I'll give Huska this - he has them working hard out there.

The signings of Stamkos, Skjei and Marssechault have as a collective made the Predators the worst team in the league.

Hang Joe Thorton from the rafters
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
