Chayka made a terrible trade for Stepan and Raanta as well. The Hall trade didn’t make a lot of sense either. His drafting has been shoddy. He drafted Hayton at 5 which was a massive reach. Now this fiasco. Benning should be targeting that organization in the off season

Every GM will target that organization.

Is Matt Dumba a black American from the lower class hoods of USA who has experienced police brutality and systemic racism? I though he was born and raised in middle class Regina Saskatchewan, Dad is a white guy from Romania and Mom is Filipino sent to expensive hockey academies. Parents even uprooted the whole family to Calgary to support his junior hockey career. Is he really the right NHL poster boy to Black Lives Matter

Could you explain the illegal testing to me Tman?
If memory serves, that were doing physicals of draft prospects illegally. (teams are only allowed to do it at a combine)
Combine meaning... all teams testing at the same time?

Sorry to be so daft
They have to do all the testing in the viscinity of one of these:

I spent a year in Iowa; I know what a combine is.

Im sure they’d rather have Quinn Hughes but Hayton looks like a good prospect. He was very impressive at the last WJC’s

Soderstrom would be nice to get but doubt they’d consider moving him

Former #FlaPanthers GM just spoke with me, says he does not use racist language. “I am not a racist.” Says he has not spoken with NHL, believes incident in question revolves around Matt Dumba’s speech from earlier this month.

Former Florida Panthers general manager Dale Tallon was on the golf course on Friday when news of his alleged use of racist language broke.

Tallon spoke to FloridaHockeyNow.com on Friday afternoon and said he is not a racist and never used the language of what he is apparently being accused of.

“I am not racist by any means,” Tallon said. “I have never said anything of the sort. I am all for peace, am all for this alliance and what everyone is trying to do right now.”

On Friday morning, it was learned the NHL has an active investigation going into alleged racial comments made by Tallon while the Panthers were in the Toronto secure zone.
Read on... Dale didn't know he was colored... :wow:

According to Rick Dhaliwal Mike Gillis' interview for the Panthers job went well and he has a second interview upcoming.

*Does anyone have video of Alain Vigneault's struggle session with the media last week? I heard about it but can't find video of it anywhere.

Thanks for the clip and Craig Button rant Micky. I have heard that the media actually subjected AV to a long drawn out Maoist style struggle session but he didn't break and the media became furious afterward. Looking for footage of the complete Maoist struggle session with coach Vigneault ;)
