Wrong again gomer!

In a perfect Hindhu world...

Hughes- $8M
Edler -- $6M
Myers - $5.5M
Tanev - $4.5M

Over their long NHL careers Edler has averaged over 23 minutes, Myers over 22, Tanev less than 20.
By that rationale, Sutter and Eriksson are two of the teams best forwards. Cholla gonna trolla

Tanev has NEVER gotten PP time. Maybe tune in and watch the odd game sober.

You're just plain wrong, the fact you're agreeing with YouKnowWho107 should have given you a clue.
Ahem; I based my rating of Chris on this year. Now; if we're talking about monies worth, guess what? I still rank him second.

Now, bare with me for a sec. He stared wearing some new pads this year and some special "extra" protection for his ankles.

Seems to have worked pretty well for him as he was still doing a bang-up job blocking shots. Also; the fact he remained healthy

all year, saw his skating and mobility improve notably, IMO, and I have no reason to think, if we were to resign him, he wouldn't stay that way.

If he wants an inordinate sum of $$$ and term then good-bye. Trying to find someone that can do his job as well as he does will not be easy.

Yep, then 3 Edler, 4 Myers.
1 Hughes, 2 Edler, 3 Myers, 4 Tanev... you stupid fucking gomers!
Not even close. Hughes and Tanev were the clear top pairing. Myers played on the third pair. Edler on the second pair.
Hughes was the top pair, not Tanev, Hughes and Myers were statistically the best pairing and it’s not even close, doc has it right.
Lol you fucking troll. Tanev played more shifts with Hughes than anyone. Another clown who doesn’t watch the games. Not even worth time responding to this nonsense

UMMMM. You can't compare forward MPG to dee MPG. Minute munching is a thing.

Part of the reason he's a #4 at best.

I can see this subject matter is too complex for gomers.

I'll pray for you (I swear!).

I didn’t say Myers played with Hughes more than Tanev, I said when Myers and Hughes played together they were statistically a better pairing than Hughes and Tanev. Hughes is the driving force behind possession, Tanev is a great shot blocker because he never has possession.

But you base your rankings on pay. Or is that only for the D?

Tanev is probably a 3/4 at this point similar to Edler. But they’re both better than Myers which is why they play against better competition.

Tanev does a hell of a lot more than block shots. I get that he’s a Gillis acquisition so he will draw the ire of some folks. I think he’s gone regardless.

And your point is? :hmmm:

Micky wrote: Wed May 13, 2020 2:20 pm Now; if we're talking about monies worth, guess what? I still rank him second.
That's because you're a gomer.

A combo of minute-munching ability, top-4 skill, and offensive contribution determines your dman pay grade.

Tanev is #4 on this team.

We all know about the custom pads he wore this year Mick...

Well rumours are he wants to cash in on his next contract, and ipso facto, yup good-bye. :drink:

Who cares if he’s a gillis acquisition I love Tanev, it’s just obvious he’s not the same player he was and overpaying him will not be good. There are a lot of rhd (especially “defensive” dmen) in free agency that will cost less and will be just as good as Tanev.

Let's give thanks my friends.

And let us pray that one day he understands Myers/Edler are solid #3 dmen amen.
