So since the blues decided to resign Scandella at an inflated hit before Petro right as the cap prognosis is looking like retraction or stagnation is a possibility...will AP hit the open market?

The Blues are going to have to get some serious cake off the books if they want to bring back Pietrangelo. He’s gonna want to paid no matter what the cap ends up being. Ideally they could move Faulk. They have Allen and Bozak they could deal I guess. Maybe ship out Gunnarson as well. I don’t know how you let your captain go though.

If Pietrangelo was 2 years younger I'd say offer them Boeser straight up if the team is moving on from Brock. But not at 30 years old.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

He’s also a UFA. We could always offer up Boeser for Parayko though. Not sure how that helps the Blues cap though. And I can’t see them going for that. If Im St Louis I do everything I can to bring back AP. Guy is a horse and much like Shea Weber or Ryan Sutter I think he will continue to play good hockey well into his mid to late 30s. When you can play both he and Parayko on separate pairs for 50 min a night it’s a huge advantage.

You're probably right, but I don't think many 30 year old players are worth a 23 year old 60+ point winger who already has the ability to score 30 goals.

Big Byfugglyalien just hit free agency....I'd swing for that fence as well
He's 35 and renowned for inconsistent conditioning, and hasn't played in a year. Big pass.
He never was in shape lol. Hes a monster who can likely still have a huge impact on any defense hes dressed for even if he is rocking a david Wells shit locker
