This guise of rooting for losses thing is over. Teams that have a .588 points % don't intentionally lose games, "tanking" is not a thing in these cases and everyone knows it. Even the people who really super duper hate their team's management and think it needs to be a The Purge sequel in the FO know it. No one is intentionally losing here.

This board cultural rot has gone for almost half a decade (the oldest tank thread is from 2015, and there might be older before HF pruned stuff). Everyone on this board has spent too damn long knifing each other and driving people away, posting in the harshest terms permitable (and often not) because they think Jim Benning is a mentally challenged goat f***er or something or just say so to be edgy.

Well that's cool, you can think that, even post it (though preferably slightly toned down with some grace allotted for people who maybe think differently, the lack of which is 99% of the problem on this board the last 2 years)

I didn't make the call to shut the tank thread down, but I support the mods in doing so as the section supervisor. It's board rot all across HF and it takes forums YEARS to recover because a chunk of posters get obsessed over the topic, driving away normal fans in the process.

It's time for the board to move on. The team is not in any way shape or form tanking for a draft pick, additional loses between now and April will not result in Jim Benning getting fired. There is no premise for which this thread should exist anymore.
