Barrie isn’t someone to commit a big money contract to. Sakic thought so and now Dumbass thinks so. With Hughes eating up the prime PP minutes shouldn’t they go for bigger defensive minded defensemen. But if it is a swap just till the season ends and they don’t plan on re-signing Stecher then I’d be fine with the move. Would rather they do a bigger move for a younger, better RH defenseman - Stecher and Gaudette for Dobson? The Islanders might see Gaudette as a top six centre, and are said to be in need of top six scoring for the playoff run. They seem to be overloaded with RHD so Dobson is getting limited minutes. It might work?

LOL !!!! the guy is playing under Barry Trotz. He is 19 and playing 6/7 minutes. It’s what Trotz does. He breaks the kids in at a snails pace. He’d cost a FUCK of a lot more than that.Cherry Picker wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 3:52 pm Barrie isn’t someone to commit a big money contract to. Sakic thought so and now Dumbass thinks so. Yah you are probably right, but we traded Neely for Pederson so anything can happen. Maybe someone really likes Gaudette, I do. But Benning better not give up Gaudette to get Barrie, if the rumours of Gaudette being on the block have any validity.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 4:39 pmLOL !!!! the guy is playing under Barry Trotz. We need somebody like Spider Simmons for the playoff festivities.
If not the Spider himself, then maybe this versatile guy?

Because Doc says that those contracts are easily moved.....try and keep up will ya Blobby.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:10 amWhy would the Devils do that?Mëds wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 7:11 pm The Devils have the most cap space in the league, they are in a position to take back a cap dump for us.
If it's Brisebois + Sven or Loui, then we do it without blinking.
I'd be fine with Jimbro making that deal with Brisebois + Future low pick and future considerations with those considerations being Loui Eriksson going to Jersey on July 2nd for a 5th or 6th round pick.

Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Ignore Boozey McCackler, he’s always cackling about the likes of Cody Glass, Evan Bouchard and Noah Dobson. He is hyping them up all the time. You know who he should be cackling about? Pettersson, Lind, Hughes, Woo, Podkolzin and Hoglander. If I thought you were capable of engaging in a decent discussion about the acquisition cost to get a kid like Dobson....... so there’s that.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:17 pmIgnore Boozey McCackler, he’s always cackling about the likes of Cody Glass, Evan Bouchard and Noah Dobson. That and Benning just dealt Madden who was probably our next young center in line after Gaudette, so moving on from Gaudette at this juncture seems highly unlikely.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 4:39 pmLOL !!!! the guy is playing under Barry Trotz. I’m still trying to figure out how Mëds gets his knees under the desk when he’s on the computer posting here. It’s probably why he’s surly. His knees cranked to one side start to cramp upDoyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:49 pm Mëds would potatoe punch Docs grubby dome into gorilla cookies

You can’t get anymore washed up than Simmonds. I’m not interested but Jim’ll, well, he’s wild and unpredictable and isn’t afraid. It’s why the Chef loves him
