Byram player better as the WJC progressed. You were probably only watching the US. He’s a good player who has had a down year offensively. The entire Giants team has stuck this year. It isn’t a good club and they don’t score.

You probably wouldn’t trade Juolevi for him.
Now that move requires zero deliberation

Not for him apparently. He thinks every single prospect in the league sucks if they aren’t affiliated with Vancouver

He didn’t make an impression at all. In fact even Bahl impressed me more than Byram. Addison was the go to PP QB. I expected a helluva lot more from him. Drysdale’s skating and IQ is superior

I was super impressed with Lafrenierre, Hayton, Drysdale, Cozens, Podkolzin and Stutzle at the WJC’s.

Keep in mind folks this is the same guy that said Cale Makar was a garbage fire at the WJC and not worthy of being a 1st round pick.

I was giving Makar the gears but he was still much more poised at the WJC in every other aspect of the game much more than Byram. Byram looked lost

You said Makar shouldn’t have even been a 1st rounder

So you envision the same level of success in the NHL out of Byram in what we’ve seen in Makar  regardless of what I said about Makar, you act as if I’m the only one concerned with Byram with whom I’m sorry to say but beyond his meh WJC performance his WHL season this year has been awful, that my friend is the bigger concern

I didn’t say that at all. You are notorious for carving up kids six months after they were drafted but I’m an asshole for saying anything about Olaf who was drafted four years ago.

Olli is playing good hockey right now in a far superior league

In a redraft I’m taking defenceman - Broberg, Seider and Soderstrom ahead of Byram. All 3 were much more impressive at the WJC’s. Byram had a Florida Garrison like season last year. It’s a one off

Olli is 22 years old for fuck sakes. No shit he’s in a better league than an 18 year old.

The draft was six months ago. Little soon to be writing the kid off. As I said the Giants aren’t very good and they don’t score. It’s a team sport. I guess you struggle with that concept.

So blame everyone else for his play? 26 goals last season on pace for 6 goals? That’s not a small dip regardless of his team.

The Giants are 21 wins 20 losses and are leading the wildcard race in the west only two points out! oh they are real bad alright.

The Giants have 118 goals for in 46 games. They are anemic offensively. It’s a team sport. I guess since all you did for sports was ride around on a bike in tights, you don’t quite grasp the concept of team sports.
