What the Rangers going through right now having 3 goalies ready to play:
Alexandar Georgiev (unproven, but playing decent)
Henrik Lundqvist (old timer vet, declining to waive, wants to stay put, has this year and next @ $8.5M per)
Igor Shesterkin (mystery)
Is what the Canucks could potentially go through with:
Marky
Demko
DiPietro
Silovs
Dreger saying it'll take at least Kapanen from the Leaves for Georgiev.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Igor doesn't require waivers, they should just send him down.SKYO wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 12:26 pm What the Rangers going through right now having 3 goalies ready to play:

I don't know why they don't keep both the Russkies and buy out Lundqvist in June.
Georgiev requires protection in the Seattle X-draft, but Mr Andersen will be a pending UFA, so he does not.
Surely Kapanen will be traded in the not-too-distant future...

Dumba is going to be dangled by the Wild. How do we get him? Attach a prize with Loui, like a Woo? Your thoughts? He’s 25, right shot D-man with a cap hit of $6 million until the end of the 2022-23 season. Let’s do it! How? BDub let’s hear your insaneness!

Yeah Woo easily gets it done. ‘Hey Canucks we’ll give you our top pairing guy for Louie Eriksson and that kid in the Dub that wasn’t good enough to make Team Canada as a 20 year old.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 10:02 pm Dumba is going to be dangled by the Wild. Either way your offer of Woo and Eriksson for Dumba must have been a joke right?

You wanted Hague over Lind. You can’t stop talking about that
I’m starting low when kicking Dumba’s tires. Apparently the Wild are going to be sellers at the Deadline and Dumbas name is popping up along with Zuckers. He carries a big price tag with 3 years left after this, don’t think he’s an easy trade for the Wild. They will have to take money/contract back.

I may have mentioned it once or twice. I “can’t stop talking about it”. LOL. It’s more to do with the fact the Canucks didn’t and still don’t have much in the way of young D men in the system. And lo and behold Hague is in the NHL playing decent hockey on a good team.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 8:57 am You wanted Hague over Lind. You can’t stop talking about that

Your offer isn’t starting low, it’s an outright insult. Eriksson has massive negative value and Woo isn’t a great prospect. He’s a decent one. They’d want the Russian as a starting point and then another high end prospect for taking Louie’s massive contract.
