It's getting warm

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Au contraire.... I'm saying we're all inbred shaved apes, regardless of colour, creed, culture or fetish! :drink:

Why else would we waste time debating with strangers on a god damned hockey bulletin board? :look:

I already admitted as much!

But for ephemeral humans that have to beat damned poor odds to live even a century, 800,000 years might seem like a pretty long time.
Especially since it's probably 4 times longer than our species has existed (depending of course on how you define species).

Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth it was a hell of a lot warmer.
I'm just saying our odds at surviving back then would have been pretty slim. :-|

In parts of China they are already relying on people with feathers pollinating crops as there are far too few bees.

Maybe we should follow chinas lead on global stewardship

That time they had every citizen in china go outside and clash pot lids together to scare the birds away. Good times

Yup. They've messed up their environment really bad.

Too bad cockroaches don't pollinate crops.

When I was in China there were cockroaches everywhere....

At one point, back in the day, they had a campaign to kill all birds, as they figured they were eating grain.

When the bird population fell, they were swamped with insects, so they just used insecticides in agriculture like crazy.

Now they don't have enough bees.... :(

Well, not very effectively, but it seems we have been able to shift the average temperature without even trying.

I mean, you must have noticed it’s getting warmer right?
