There's a rumour Buffalo is about to pull the trigger on a Risto trade.
The only way Jimmy gets his man is if he's managed to get a Sutter/Loui trade done.

The consensus of HF (fans from all teams) is that Risto sucks severely.
Personally I think that consensus is wrong, but hey it's like assholes...

Pavel Buchnevich re-signs - 2 years, $3.25 million AAV.
Smith buyout? or Kreider trade for picks.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Buyout window for the Rangers is closed.
But Rags are only slightly over the cap with 23 players signed, no biggie...

OOPS didn't realize Buchnevich was up for arbitration before this signing.Strangelove wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 5:45 pmBuyout window for the Rangers is closed.

(I scanned the list post-signing and it showed no one was up for arbitration)
You're right Skyo, they have 48 hours to buy someone out if they choose.

like the leaves,
are planning on moving Sutter at all. Not this year...May have to re-think that now.
There are other ways for the Canucks to gain cap space but we wont talk about that yet. It's early still.
